Real Madrid clinched their maiden trophy under Carlo Ancelotti beating their bitter rivals Barcelona, 2 - 1 in the last night's triller of an encounter. Goals from Di Maria and Gareth Bale helped them secure their 19th Copa Del Rey title last night. With Cristiano Rolando injured, Gareth Bale stood up to the challenge and proved his worth in the left wing of Madrid's strike force. His winner in the 85th minute marked on of the most crucial goals of his career as it sinked the Catalans and their hopes of the only silverware this season.

Barcelona who are already out of the Champions League, now failed to clinch the Copa Del Ray and are in 3rd in the table behind Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. With only 5 more games still to play Barcelona may end this season without any silverware.

Real Madrid are still alive in the Champions League as they face the defending champions Bayern Munich in the semi final next week. With the Copa Del Rey already in the back they look to add to that tally, as they are only 3 points behind Atletico Madrid in La Liga as both teams have 5 more games to play. Rolando's injury and he missing these crucial matches is certainly a big loss to the Spanish giants but yet the manner in which they managed to clinch the major within the reach of their rivals last night was just incredible.

Barcelona was not able to win the Champions League or the La Liga title last season which marked the last year for Pep Quardiola at the Camp Nou, but they were able to pull off the League Cup  adding to the list of many in the Quardiola's reign. Vilanova took over and with new additions into the team Barcelona is still the team to beat in Europe.
Teams that can beat Barcelona this season
Chelsea were able to beat Barca last season in the Champions League even with 10 men and this made many teams to believe "Barcelona can be beaten".

New signing Alex Song and Jordi Alba add on to their strike force and make the team even more superior when compared to all other teams.

Barcelona in the recent past have kept the ball for most of the time and have failed to convert their ball possession into winning possession. They keep the ball but were not able to score enough where as other teams take their chances even though they are small in number.

Teams which can beat Barcelona this season

1.Real Madrid
2.Manchester United
3.Chelsea
4.Bayern Munich
5.Manchester City

Champions league this season will be a fight to the end, all big teams have good quality players who are in great form so far this season.

Real Madrid and Manchester United have the best strike forces in Europe as of now and Chelsea may not be more convincing without Drogba and even  miss a quality striker.

Manchester City with a very physical side can be a very tough opponent for Barca, they have a very good defensive record which can challenge even Messi who scored more than 70 goals last season.

The best place to watch football has to be Spain with the Spanish National side roaring with titles and many of the players playing in the Spanish league, undoubtedly La Liga BBVA is the ultimate stop for football. If you are talking about La Liga, you should start with the El Clasico. Barcelona weren’t able to defend their title last season which led Real Madrid to win a record points Championship last time around. The start of the season for Real was not great in their sense and Barcelona leading the table from the start this season.
Barcelona always got the better of Real in the El Clasico ties, Mourinho was not able to get past the might of Quardiola’s Barca in the last two seasons

El Clasico, Real Madrid vs Barcelona and Messi vs Ronaldo

The Vilanova era was very good for Barca in the league but lost the la liga Super Cup to Real Madrid, Real despite their poor start were able to clinch the super cup. As they faced off for the first time this season, Rolando and Messi get another chance to prove their supremacy on the game.

The match kicked off in an usual fashion with both teams adapting to their own style of playing football. Barca tried to keep the ball and Real Madrid wanted to break through as usual. No better score line than a 2-2 draw with both Messi and Rolando scoring twice for each side. The never ending excitement and passion for the El Clasico goes on as the both sides meet again in Bernabeu.
